Quick Tips

  • Begin training by adding a new athlete to your account. In the athlete listing, click on “+ Add Athlete” to generate a unique link, which you can then share with your athlete.
  • You can also send them an invitation directly to their email.
  • Click on your profile in the top right corner, then select “Settings”. There, you can configure your coach data and display preferences such as unit preference (imperial or metric) and preferred date format in your account settings.
  • You can access your athletes in the left sidebar when you are in the calendar view. From the right sidebar, the training library will be displayed. Easily access your athletes and saved workouts.

Athletes

Add a new athlete

To add a new Athlete, start by selecting “+ Add Athlete” at the top of the Athlete listing page. You’ll receive a unique link to share with your athlete, facilitating a seamless connection to your account.

Athlete configuration

Click on an athlete, then click on the “Profile” tab to access that athlete’s account settings and update their thresholds and zones.

Athlete Listing (Calendar View)

You can navigate between your different athletes using the left sidebar, allowing you to add training or copy and paste between athletes quickly and efficiently.

Groups

You can group your athletes for easier planning and review. Groups enable smoother management and enhanced organization. You can create groups and add athletes to those groups by clicking on “Groups” at the top of the main navigation bar.

Training Library (Calendar View)

Easily create and manage workouts with TrainerPlan’s intuitive Training Library. Add new workouts, build structured training sessions, and organize them into folders for efficient planning.

Organize your workouts into folders to make them easier to find or to enhance the efficiency of your planning.

You can also filter by activity type and sort them as you prefer.

Training Plans

Develop multi-week training plan templates using dynamic or static training plans, ready to be applied to your athletes. Save time and improve training consistency with reusable plans.

Calendar View

Efficiently plan workouts for your athletes by dragging and dropping from your Training Libraries. Access athlete settings and navigate dates seamlessly for effective training scheduling.

Copy and paste workouts or entire days to different dates or different athletes.

You can also copy and paste entire weeks.

Dashboard

The athlete dashboard features a variety of charts and reports to help you track trends and athlete performance over time.

The Performance Dashboard is where you can view detailed performance graphs to help you monitor and plan training loads for your athletes.

Annual Training Plan (ATP)

The Annual Training Plan allows you to create an overall periodization plan for the entire season for your athletes.

Account Settings

  • Click on your profile picture in the top right corner of your TrainerPlan page to access your account settings.
  • Select whether you prefer English or metric units in the “Settings” section.
  • Adjust your notifications and set them for each athlete in “Notifications”.
  • For a more personalized and professional experience, you can upload your logo and choose colors that best represent your brand in the application.
  • Access your TrainerPlan account billing in “Billing” and/or “Plans”.
